Founded in 2019, the Romanian Society on Ergonomics and Workplace Management (ErgoWork) was established to build a vibrant national knowledge community, exchange best practices, and build “bridges of knowledge” connecting Romanian ergonomists with global networks. From launching our first conference entirely online in 2020 amid the pandemic, to defining the post-pandemic landscape in 2022 under the banner “ErgoWork for a New Normal” and expanding into the AI-driven era in 2024 through the “Meaning and Fusion” initiative, ErgoWork has evolved into an international opinion leader. Now an official member of both FEES and the IEA, ErgoWork 2026 continues its trajectory of connecting global practitioners, researchers, and educators.
ErgoWork 2026: Ergonomics for Mind and Machine — Shaping Resilient Work Systems (conference focus)
Building upon our previous focus on rapid digital transformation, ErgoWork 2026 invites the global community to explore the mature integration of AI, Industry 5.0 technologies, and advanced workplace management. We welcome contributions that look toward the future of sustainable, inclusive, and highly collaborative workspaces where technology serves to augment human potential, health, and wellbeing. We cordially invite distinguished academic colleagues, researchers, and industry practitioners from public and private companies, research institutes, and medical units to share their latest insights, research results, and industrial best practices. Be part of the dialogue shaping the next generation of human-centric systems via ergonomics!
